Vandon Court

GDA Surveying Ltd is currently appointed to contract administer the refurbishment of the common areas in Vandon Court, located in Petty France.

Vandon Court has a rich and storied history. Built in the early 20th century, it originally served as a residential building. 

Over time, it underwent various adaptations and repurposings. During World War II, it played a role in housing government offices. Vandon Court stands as a testament to its architectural heritage and adaptive reuse. Its prominent position in Petty France, combined with its historical significance, makes it a notable landmark in the area.

    The contract value will be approximately £750k and is scheduled to be completed in 2024.

    The works will include:

    • Installation of new fire doors to apartments and service risers.
    • Fire compartmentation works.
    • Repairs to Crittall windows.
    • Structural repairs.
    • Repairs and decoration of walls and ceilings.
    • Installation of new carpet.

    • Procurement route selection.
    • Cost consultancy services.
    • CDM services.
    • Specification.
    • Tendering.
    • Contract administration of the works.
